[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 366x; height: 190px; padding: 10px; background-color: #141414;] CROSSED WANDS' OFFICIAL GUIDE TO NOT GETTING BOOTED one; proboards has a terms of service we all have to abide by and while most of it we ignore there’s a few we do stick to. for a start no under thirteen’s are allowed - that’s not our rule it’s theirs so bitch to them if you have a problem, and secondly any porn, or explicit material we find whether it be in a post, or your graphics, will be removed with no warning. we have the right to do it the same as they have the right to remove this board without giving us a chance to rectify anything furthermore if this rule is broken you’ll find your account, your ip address and your email account deleted and banned from this forum. two; you must respect your fellow members at all time, and this includes saying racist, religious, homophobic, or just plain discriminative remarks. treat those as you wish to be treated; manners don’t cost anything, use them - period but i’m sure this goes without saying, right? three; display names should be the first, middle and last name of your character for example - landon nicholas cooper and most definitely should be in lowercase. it keeps it nice and uniform at the bottom of the page, kids. additionally avatars should be 200x300px or less. signatures are disabled. four; application form or graphic jacking will not be tolerated here. ever. use your own initiative, and skills to make your own and write your own otherwise you’ll find yourself removed, and banned. we’ve all had our stuff nicked and it’s not cool. five; mary sues jerk everyone off including the admins. make your characters realistic people. we’re not saying people don’t have a shitty life but when it’s overly dramatic it’s just plain old bullshit the same with overly perfect lives. do.not.do.it six; please no anime, cartoons or drawings they’re definitely not permitted here regardless of the situation or writer’s preference. there are hundreds of celebrities out there the same with models whether they be well known or lesser known ones. we can give you links to several sites with boards made specifically for play-by help. seven; you must post in third person, past tense. i know not everyone has this rule because i know a lot of sites don't really give a crap but it works out better for the people involved with the roleplay if they can somewhat distance themselves from the character besides, it also makes the replies longer. trust me. eight; the posting minimum is 250 words no exceptions. it may seem like a whole lot but when you’re in a role play with someone and find yourself getting into it you’ll find yourself typing over that anyway. there isn’t a maximum on here but please be aware when writing that not everyone can write a lengthy novel type post. nine; godmodding/power playing isn’t permitted here and never will be under any circumstance. there are ways around things if you find yourself stuck in a thread; use your imagination perhaps they get a call and have to leave in a hurry? it happens it real life so it can happen here. you can’t predict someone else’s thoughts or moves here. |
